I started taking pictures as a child. I took photos of everything whether it was good or not. It was not until much later in life that I decided to learn something about photography. So off I went back to school. I was taking a lot of photos but not liking them much. It took me a while to figure out what I liked best. These days you can almost always find me walking around with my 100mm Macro lens or one of my Lensbaby lens. The Lensbaby fills my love of abstract. I mostly take nature photos heavy on flowers. I like to capture the beauty of nature in all its multiple forms. From the tiny optimistic bud just emerging to the flower petal that has fallen on the barren ground. Natures beauty is not always the most perfect or the most unusual, but to me it is what catches my eye.
